Sandy is really changing. It’s incredible. When I see her or talk to her, it’s as though I can feel a noticeable shift. She’s the same…only enhanced. More balanced. It’s a change difficult to articulate, because it’s not something you can see. You sense it.
Say you have a friend who starts dating a new guy; she becomes happier, lighter, more herself. She’s the same, but better, because she’s found someone to whom she can really connect. Or you have another friend who comes back from 8 months in another country and he’s “grown” and “evolved.” You recognize him, he’s the same…only it’s as if he’s more comfortable with himself.
The shift in Sandy is similar to these types of intangible shifts you can sense in close friends and family.
For example, Sandy is handling stress as it relates to money and her business in ways she previously could not. Earlier in the week, she faced the possibility of losing one of her biggest clients. Normally, this would cause crippling anxiety and stress for Sandy. “But,” she told me, “I have to say I wasn’t out of my mind.” This was huge! She was so even-keeled and nonchalant about the whole thing. “I did meet with the client and all is very well. For once in my life, I actually felt a peace that seemed real.”
“So far I can say that I feel a quiet confidence and it's just much easier,” says Sandy.
Exactly!
That’s what I sense about her – a quiet confidence and self-assurance that just wasn’t there before. Amazing.
